Colombian Street Festival 2015 - Miss Foodie What's ON

Hola Brisbane! Fortitude Valley’s biggest Colombian Street Festival is back!

GPO and Smirnoff are excited to announce the return of Colombian Street Festival this year for another epic celebration of all things Colombian right in the heart of Fortitude Valley, on Saturday 18 July.

Honouring Colombian Independence Day, this traditional street party will once again feature delicious Colombian food and drink, LIVE music performances, as well as Latin dancing and DJ sets guaranteed to give you a Colombian cultural experience like no other!

With festivities kicking off from 11am, punters will be able to feast on a huge variety of authentic Colombian dishes ranging from tasty Spanish Paella to mouth-watering empanadas, Brisbane’s best traditional arepas, Colombian sweet treats and much more!

All thanks to the guys from Latin Bakers, La Fona Colombiana, Spanish Paella, Latin Delights, Colombian BBQ, Arepa House and Tayrona, who will all be joining the party this year and cooking up a storm.

There will also be plenty of exotic Colombian beverages to enjoy, including Aguardiente, Aguila, Gaseosas Colombians, as well as a Colombian style shots bar and cocktail towers.

As the sun goes down, Colombian music makers, DJ Ikanos, DJ Santi Casta and DJ Toro will keep the crowds dancing late into the evening, followed by an official after party at GPO.
