Winter Lights Festival and Cheese Market– A Celebration of Winter with Fine Food, Mulled Wine, Lanterns and Music.
Supporting local producers and artists, this years ‘Winter Lights Festival’ stalls will include chilli, cheese, chocolate, mulled wine, boutique beers, international cuisine, lights, beanies, scarves and local handicraft.
Queensland’s biggest cheese market is part of the Racecourse Road Festival this year, with over 20 cheese producers joining the stall holders showcasing Australia’s finest cheeses.
Local musicians and performers will connect with their community with performances along the road throughout the day. The main stage will include community performances for the morning and jazz for the afternoon accompanied with a live art show. The Eaton’s Hill Hotel will own Stage Two – delivering a number of fantastic DJs for the day.
Opening at 10am, the event will conclude with the stunning lantern parade at 6:30pm. Lanterns will leave Eagle Farm Race track and walk down the festival and back up.
